Playlist

Roll your own set list from the archive

Filter the archive by artist, venue, source, or mood, then build a set — a fixed number of songs, a target length, or endless shuffle. Each playlist uses one randomly chosen performance of a song, so one played a dozen times over the years never repeats within a single set.

How to build a playlist

Pick filters below — artist, venue, source, tags — then hit Generate playlist for an instant random set, or use the + button on individual results to hand-pick songs first.

You can also add songs while browsing: click + next to any performance on a song's own page or in Songs, and a bar at the bottom of the screen keeps a running count as you move between pages. Click Build playlist → there to bring your picks back here. Your selection is saved as you go, so it survives a reload, a closed tab, or a second window.

You are hearing the Loud version — an extra render at −14 LUFS, about as loud as a streaming service, so it isn’t too quiet on phone speakers or in a car. Switch to Archive for the −20 LUFS masters exactly as they were mastered.
