A great and lively Mad Hannans set at the Sweetwater in Mill Valley, almost entirely original material apart from covers of Gary Lee and the Showdown’s “The Rodeo Song,” Lefty Frizzell’s “Long Black Veil,” and a singalong run through the traditional “Rocky Road to Dublin.”
The room sound on this tape ran muddy; EQ was applied across the whole recording in Audacity to brighten it up before the tracks were split, then each track was loudness-normalized to the archive standard.
